We met in 2013 through a group of mutual friends at our church. In 2016 we were married in the same church where we met.
We currently work and live in southwest Ohio where we have a large support system with Tyler's family being local to us and a church family that is there to encourage and provide additional support.

MEET TYLER

I grew up in Ohio and have stayed relatively local through most of my college years and adult life. After completing a degree in church ministry I began working for a local church and have continue to serve there in several capacities. Once I finished my graduate studies I began teaching Bible and history at the college level which I continue to do today.
I've always spent my time being around people. Some people call me an 'extrovert - ' and maybe that's the case. If I'm not at home with Nik, I'm usually at the gym with our team, at the church, or at the park (playing pick-up or softball). But though I love to be out and doing things, one of my favorite things to do is read. I think the biggest reason I love reading is that I love learning as well as sharing new discoveries with those around me.
One thing that I have always dreamed of is becoming a Father. It's the one thing I can't 'learn' until it actually happens. No amount of reading or studying can prepare me for it, but it would be so awesome to love and care for a little boy or girl and learn to give them everything thy need from a parent. It is quite literally the thing I am most excited about and eagerly awaiting.

MEET NICOLE

I grew up and went to college in Upstate New York. After graduating with an engineering degree I moved to Pennsylvania to begin a career with a Fortune 50 consumer goods company. My company moved me to Ohio in 2010 where I have remained ever since. My job involves a lot of talking with consumers to find out what they like and dislike about products and using that information to design new products. I also loooove working with data. I have been told I have an unhealthy obsession with spreadsheets. Even in our personal life I have a spreadsheet for everything from grocery prices at different stores to our monthly budget.
I spent my 20s having the adventures, seeing the country, checking off bucket list items (which included anything from being part of a flash mob to attending all of the tree lightings on the east coast one Christmas season). Nowadays I'm more of a homebody. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen, perfecting family recipes or coming up with my own. I also love curling up on the couch with a cat and a good book.
My dream is to include a child in future adventures, both at home and checking off more bucket list items. I can't wait to see our son or daughter standing on a stool next to me covered in flour ready to mix cookie dough. I'd love to bring them to Terry's Ice Cream for a giant sundae, City Museum in St Louis to go down the 10 story slide, and Great American Ballpark to see the Reds play.

OUR INTERESTS

Picture

Music is a huge part of our life! Listening to it, playing instruments, singing, our world is full of music

We would love to introduce a child to a musical instrument or new styles of music. We want to find out what they have a passion for and help them succeed with it, whether it be through music, sports, academics, or something else they discover. Is there an instrument you dream of your child learning how to play?

We love being out and about and exploring things to do with friends. We both love basketball and try to make it to various high school and college area games throughout the season as well as frequenting the local professional soccer games, but our favorite date nights are going to the theatre. Do you have a favorite sports team or activity you want your child to grow up rooting for or participating in?
In our free time, Tyler tends to spend his free time in the gym, either working out, playing sports, or coaching, and Nicole gravitates more towards the arts, playing piano, singing in an A Capella group through her work, and being as involved as she can in backstage theatre.
